If you have previously taught Bible studies, can easily strike up conversations with people you don’t know and create connections, and don’t mind working alone, this might just be something for you. Pioneering is challenging but oh, so rewarding! An Iceland team member needs to be adventurous and spiritually well-grounded, with a firm habit of daily devotion and prayer. Simply put, we need team members who are willing to do hard things. You will be working in a country with sights unlike any other, alongside a people who have mostly chosen to believe God doesn’t exist; and yet, we know He does, and they need to know! Will you take on a task of seemingly monumental proportions, yet is but a small thing in the eyes of a living God? We hope you’ll say yes!

Your North American passport is adequate for up to 3 months in Iceland, with no additional visa being necessary. Training will be provided to help you understand the spiritual landscape in Iceland, enabling you to minister effectively in-country. (Note that if a couple applies, the budget will increase accordingly.)
