Northern Mariana Islands [7106]

WHAT?  The church on the beautiful island of Saipan has lain dormant since its pastor passed away in 2011.  Field Superintendent, missionaries David and Kelley Dibble request a married couple to revive the multicultural congregation.  A hotel meeting room or similar site will need to be secured for church services as a physical church building no longer exists. Also, there is an opportunity to teach the GATS curriculum in our virtual Bible school, Micronesia Bible Institute. On Saipan, NMI, there are believers who presently have no Apostolic church to attend.

WHO?  Saipan needs an adventurous married couple or family, or a single man who may or may not have had formal Bible school training, may or may not possess the ability to play a musical instrument, enjoys opportunities to teach home Bible studies, work with children and young people, and preach in churches, parks and homes.

WHERE?  Arriving after a twenty-minute flight north from Guam, Saipan is the capital and largest of the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. territory in the North Pacific subregion of Micronesia.  Indigenous people from the Marianas are CHamorro (yes, the H is capitalized, too), and there are multiple cultures on Saipan where English is spoken and the U.S. Dollar is the currency.  Known for its historical World War II sites, the island is ready to make history by breaking up the fallow ground, planting and growing a thriving church again where furnished rentals are available as well as used vehicles for purchase.

While they’re on deputation in 2025, the Dibbles look forward to discussing your next AIM adventure in Saipan.
