WHAT? An Army wife in the 1980s, our Palauan pastor was won to the Lord in the States. She wondered for years why no missionary wanted to take the Gospel to her people so in the 1990s she took It to her homeland herself. The 68-year-old pastor and single mom of an adopted child has asked her Field Superintendent, missionaries David and Kelley Dibble to request a married couple to co-labor with her in Palau. Also, there is an opportunity to teach the GATS curriculum in our virtual Bible school, Micronesia Bible Institute.
WHO? An adventurous married couple that may or may not have had formal Bible school training, may or may not have children, may or may not possess the ability to play a musical instrument, enjoys opportunities to teach home Bible studies, work with children and young people and preach in churches, parks and homes.
WHERE? After under two hours of flying southwest from Guam, Palau is in the North Pacific subregion of Micronesia. Palauans also speak English, use the U.S. Dollar, and the nation’s 16 multi-cultural states are known for their pristine diving waters and breathtaking beaches. The opportunities are endless for reaching not only Palauans but also Filipinos, Bangladeshi, other foreign nationals with the Gospel. The church in Airai State provides a furnished one-bedroom “AIM House” and larger furnished rentals are available as well as used vehicles for purchase.
While they’re on deputation in 2025, the Dibbles look forward to discussing your next AIM adventure in the Republic of Palau.
