Do you want to reach the world? Come do campus ministry in Europe!
We are looking for both aspiring and experienced campus ministers. Come help and learn in Barcelona, Spain, home to about 200,000 students from all over the world.
This AIM opportunity is in conjunction with Global Campus Ministries (GCM), which is an endorsed ministry of UPCI Global Missions. The two purposes of GCM are to:
- Develop resources and provide training for campus evangelism.
- Provide fellowship, support, and training to our students while they attend school.
- Budget (not including airfare): $2000/month for singles, $3200/month for couples.
- (optional) AIM budget may include funds for a campus ministry trip to another country in Europe.
- (optional) AIM budget may include funds to take a short-term course at the University of Barcelona to help connect with students.
Have you ever heard someone say, “I want a book of Acts church?” In Acts 19, we find the apostle Paul relocating the Ephesus disciples from the synagogue to the school of Tyrannus. This school appears to be the first campus ministry recorded in the New Testament Church and it served as a hub for daily teaching, resulting in “all who dwelt in Asia” hearing the gospel.
Why do people come to school? They want to learn. Their minds are open. They come from the villages and the cities all around, and then most of them either return home or continue their life journey, looking for a place to use what they have learned. It is important to be Kingdom-minded when doing campus ministry because they will come and go, but as a result, the gospel can go into cities we may never visit and travel beyond borders that we may never cross. To all who want a book of Acts church, we recommend doing campus ministry!
